Micro-needling (Nova by Lamelle)
Using a medical grade device the procedure produces thousands of tiny wounds which can penetrate as deeply as the dermis and start up the inflammation phase. The minute wounds caused by the needling, trigger the release of growth-factors that form new tissue layers and natural collagen with hardly any downtime at all.
These minute injuries cause micro-bleeding, not visible on the skin and each tiny wound goes through the classic phases of wound healing which induce growth factors and collagen induction. These growth factors are responsible for the production of the new collagen which is deposited in the dermis, resulting in skin rejuvenation.
Because the micro-needling device creates safe pathways for product delivery, we can also treat deeper layers of pigmentation, acne scarring, melasma and sun damaged skin by using the correct medical grade serum(s) to treat these conditions.
Dermaplaning
It is not called the “glow” treatment for no reason, during the facial our Esthetician will decide on the best medical grade serum to apply to your skin, delivering the best results! Dermaplaning is a quick and pain free resurfacing treatment. The therapist uses a sterile surgical blade to gently scrape away a layer of dead skin cells on the surface. During the process the blade also scrapes of the fine “peach fuzz”, leaving your skin smooth and soft.
Dermaplaning is one of the most effective facial exfoliation treatments. You can use it as an alternative to microdermabrasion or chemical peels or along with these procedures for an enhanced result. Following this treatment, makeup application is smoother and other skin products penetrate deeper making them more effective.
